Alyson & Paul | Backyard Long Beach Island Wedding

This past weekend is one that’s going to stay with me for a long time. I had the honor of photographing Alyson and Paul’s intimate, backyard LBI wedding, and being there to capture the amazing love between these two was absolutely incredible. Their whole wedding was such a work of love – the deep love the two of them have for each other, and the love that they both have for every single one of their guests in attendance. They took such care to show their guests how important every single one of them is in their lives and it was just so touching to witness. And their vows, seriously, it took everything I had not to start ugly crying when they were reading them to each other. It is abundantly clear that these two were just made to be together.

Alyson and Paul got married in Alyson’s backyard on Long Beach Island where she grew up, and it was the perfect venue for their wedding day. I wish I could shoot there every day (or maybe even just catch a brilliant sunset there once in a while), it was beautiful! I had trouble narrowing down the images from their day to make their blog post because there are just so many I love, but I think I managed OK. Here are just a few of my favorites from their beautiful day!

Nina & Ian | Philadelphia Wedding Photography

Nina and Ian’s wedding day was full of so much wonderful emotion, I think everyone (including me) teared up at least once! Their wedding was held at the beautiful Omni Hotel in Philadelphia, and even though the clouds kept threatening rain all day, the rain held off and we were treated to lovely weather for photos at the park across the street. Nina and Ian were so sweet together all day and just one of the kindest couples I’ve ever met. I loved everything about their wedding day and was so happy I had the opportunity to photograph it! The “M” Family | Lockridge Park Family Photography

I love this family!! These guys are one big, happy family and these 6 kiddos are the sweetest, most well-behaved kids I have ever met. They listened, they had the best manners and were so incredibly sweet to each other, their parents are my personal heroes! I’m not even kidding. I called my mom after the shoot just to tell her how amazing they were. This post is a little overdue, but I wanted to post it before too much time went by. Kate & Mark | Morris Arboretum Engagement Session

This past Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting up with Kate and Mark at Morris Arboretum to photograph their engagement session. We lucked out with gorgeous weather and I had a great time exploring the grounds of the Arboretum these two. I had never shot there before believe it or not, even though I thought I had. It turns out Pennsylvania is the land of many arboretums that I get easily confused with each other. Morris Arboretum is so beautiful though, I loved getting the chance to shoot there!

Kate and Mark are getting married this June and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day! They are both very laid back and sweet together, I just know their day is going to be so much fun. Here are just a few from our session on Sunday!

Family Date Night!

I haven’t done a personal post in a while so I thought I would share some images from family date night last night! Mike and I don’t get to go out on dates much anymore since we had Fin (who knew babysitters would be so hard to come by?), so we like to do family date night! It’s never anything too fancy, just usually going out to dinner or going to the park or something. Last night we cooked out and then roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. Yum! It’s just really nice to step away from work, the computer and the tv and do something all together. I love it! Here are just a couple of fun shots from last night hanging out in the backyard.
