Rainy afternoon with Fin

Today was gross out. Just cold rain. Yuck! And Fin has a little cough so she stayed home from daycare with me. We spent the afternoon having Mommy/Finley time reading books, hugging her stuffed animal friends and coloring. I got the camera out when we were in her room and just snapped a few photos of Fin being her cute Fin self. But only after she made me read The Very Hungry Caterpillar 7 times in a row. (She really just likes to stick her little fingers in all the holes the caterpillar has eaten. It’s good times!) Here are just a couple of my sweet Fin!

Happy Thursday!

Ali, Jimmy & Alayna | Downingtown Family Photographer

There is nothing better than when I find out past wedding clients of mine are expecting their first child. It’s seriously like the best thing in the world. And it just makes me the happiest ever when I get the opportunity to continue to document such important milestones for them. I love it!

When I photographed Ali and Jimmy’s wedding, it was my first wedding back after having Finley and man was I out of shape! I played it off as I was hoofing it down the boardwalk with all my gear draped over my shoulders to get some shots of the two of them under the pier, but I was dying. Haha! Ali was so sweet to me the entire day, asking how I was doing and offering me water. On HER wedding day. I’ve always loved these two, and getting to photograph little Alayna was just such a joy. She’s absolutely beautiful and Ali and Jimmy just glow when they talk about her. We scheduled a little mini session just before Christmas, and even if it wasn’t an actual “newborn” session since Alayna was more than a few weeks old, she was still a tiny little peanut and super adorable! Here are just a few of my favorites!!

Happy Sunday!

Julie & John | Scranton, PA Wedding Photographer

What better day to post Julie and John’s gorgeous (& hot!) September wedding at the Radisson in Scranton, PA than during a mini snow storm? I hadn’t met Julie in person before the big day, but I felt like I had known her forever after our phone conversations and emails back and forth. She is just so full of light and happiness, and the way John looks at her is the sweetest thing.

Julie and John had a traditional Greek ceremony at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Scranton, followed by formal photos at The Lands at Hillside Farms which was just the perfect location for photos of the two of them. I had such a great time with these two exploring the farm, even if there was a crazy mooing cow! Haha! Here are a just a few of my favorites from Julie and John’s beautiful wedding day!

The night ended with some traditional Greek dancing which was just awesome to capture! Happy Saturday everyone!

Amanda & Ryan Wedding | The Seaview in Galloway NJ Wedding Photographer

When Amanda and Ryan first booked me to photograph their wedding, we had no idea that within just a few short months their selected venue would be going bankrupt and they would be forced to start from scratch with planning their day. I think I had about 20 heart attacks for them as they kept me in the loop with their new plans. Thankfully they were able to switch their date and venue to the gorgeous Seaview in Galloway, NJ and I had their new date open! Yay! The thing that struck me most about Amanda and Ryan as they went through all of that crazyness though was just how relaxed and calm they were about the whole thing. They really focused on what was important during their wedding, which was marrying each other, and it was just so evident throughout their whole day.

I don’t know if I’ve ever gotten as teary eyed as I did during Amanda and Ryan’s wedding day. There was just so much emotion and love infused into everything, it was so amazing to be a part of it. Here are a few of my favorites of Amanda and Ryan’s beautiful wedding day at The Seaview!

I love this moment between Amanda and her mom.Happy Thursday!!

Jacobus & Tina | Longwood Gardens Engagement Photographer

We lucked out with a beautiful day for Jacobus and Tina’s engagement session at Longwood Gardens. We met up at the local dog park first to grab a few photos with their adorable black lab, Zeus, who I fell in love with. He was SO excited to be at the dog park and not as much excited for photos. But he was a good boy and we managed to get a couple cute ones before heading over to Longwood.

Since it was right around the holidays, I knew it would be crowded at Longwood Gardens, but I had never seen it as crowded as it was this day! It was crazy! Luckily we had the whole afternoon to take our time strolling around looking for good light and good little nooks. Jacobus and Tina are adorable together and so much fun, and I loved getting to know them even more during our session. And any couple who is willing to lay down in soggy, dead grass for a photo automatically gets 5 bonus points with me! Here are just a few of my favorites from our afternoon at Longwood Gardens!
